Embark on a journey back to the viking age - 4. - 6. june 2010
Bjorgvin Marknad is a festival where we will take you back to the viking and medieval ages. The festival lasts 3 days, from friday to sunday. The festival take place at Hordamuseet, Stend.
We take no entrance fee at the festival, but we hope visitors that like the festival, will give a donation as they leave. On the festival you can witness fighting scenes with re-enactment groups, you can practise your skill with bow and arrow at the archery range, and have a look at the merchandise for sale at the market.
We will also have historic exhibitions of daily life in Bergen (viking name Bjorgvin), and sell food prepared like they did 1000 years ago. This will be a visit to remember!
